At VESH, we can provide both elective and emergency surgical procedures for a wide variety of conditions. Our staff surgeon, Dr. Timothy Lampman, has had extensive training and experience in orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries.

Dr. Lampman is available 24 hours a day for emergency surgeries, and all his hospitalized patients are cared for by highly trained veterinarians and technicians 24 hours a day.

Common orthopedic surgeries performed by Dr. Lampman include but are not limited to:

  • Cranial cruciate ligament repair
  • Fracture repair
  • Triple pelvic osteotomy (TPO)
  • Femoral head ostectomy (FHO)
  • Stabilization of a luxating patella (MPL)
  • Spinal decompression for intervertebral disc disease (IVDD)
  • Amputation
  • Bone biopsies
  • Joint taps

Common soft tissue surgeries performed by Dr. Lampman include but are not limited to:

  • Total ear canal ablation (TECA)
  • Abdominal exploratory
  • Cystotomy
  • Anal sacculectomy
  • Gallbladder mucocele
  • Perineal urethrostomy (PU)
  • Thoracotomy
  • Pericardiectomy
  • Tissue biopsies
