Timothy Lampman, DVM
Dr. Timothy J. Lampman is a Co-owner of VESH and Orthopedic, Soft Tissue, and Neurosurgery Surgeon.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with his DVM degree in May of 1996. The following year he completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ. From June, 1997 through June, 2000 he completed an intensive small animal surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, Veterinary Teaching Hospital in St. Paul, MN. There he performed over one thousand surgeries, ranging between orthopedic, abdominal, neurologic and ophthalmologic surgeries. He has performed numerous emergency surgeries such as GDV, IVDD decompression, spinal fractures and GI foreign body removal. His orthopedic surgery expertise includes any type of fracture management (external fixator, interlocking nail, plate fixation), TPO, FHO, MPL, UAP, MCP, OCD, extracapsular ACL, and TPLO. He became TPLO-certified under Dr. Barclay Slocum in March, 2000 and has performed over 500 TPLOs. He has a special interest in wound management as well, particularly skin grafting procedures including advancement flaps, axial pattern flaps, pedicle grafts, and free grafts. From August, 2000 through September, 2002 he was employed at Dover Veterinary Hospital in Dover, NH, where he continued his surgery work. Since, he has been conducting surgery as a mobile veterinary surgeon under L-K Veterinary Surgical Center. Dr. Lampman will be sitting for his American College of Veterinary Surgery Boards in February, 2008. Dr. Lampman can be reached for consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Communication is very important to Dr. Lampman, and therefore all of his telephone communications will always be completed in a prompt manner. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, and he is also a skilled carpenter, photographer, and cyclist.
