Margaret Mathson, C.V.T.

Margaret Mathson is the Head Technician. 

She started her career in veterinary medicine in 1985 at a small, single-doctor practice in Billerica, Massachusetts.  She left the field in 1990 and spent several years in the luxury hotel business, working in Boston, MA, Northern Virginia, and Cleveland, OH.  Margaret returned to veterinary medicine on a full-time basis in 1994, when she worked at a large fourteen-doctor mixed practice.  She returned to Massachusetts in 1997 to work at the ER/ICU at Tufts University’s Foster Small Animal Hospital.  In 1999, Margaret moved to the seacoast area and worked at a specialty practice.  She joined VESH in April, 2006.  Margaret shares her life with her German Shepherd, Reilly.  Together they volunteer with a wilderness search-and-rescue team.  Margaret has also adopted several kitties over the years.  Currently, Ashley, Timothy, and Liam allow Margaret and Reilly to care for them in their shared home.
